Biography:

Jacquie Gulliver Thompson studied Fine Art in the sixties at St Alban’s School of Fine Art under Euan Uglow and George Fullard. Not wanting to teach, she then trained as a graphic designer for book publishing, later art-directing a wide variety of illustrated books (one of them prize-winning) for publishers such as Mitchell Beazley and Dorling Kindersley. Throughout, she continued life drawing and gradually returned to her original interest, painting, which she was finally able to pursue professionally in her studio at the Limehouse Art Foundation. She died shortly after her last solo show in Paris.

She has works in collections in France, Italy, the Antilles, Canada, Massachusetts, California and the UK.
